A small celebration

Yesterday was a great day for me, because I logged into WordPress and saw this:

I know 10 followers isn’t a lot, but seeing this made me really happy. I’ve not been blogging for very long (my first post was July 16) but after 2 months and a lot of work, I had the satisfaction of knowing that 10 people were reading my blog. Before I even had time to reflect on it, I got two more follows that day!

To these first ten twelve, I offer my sincere thanks and appreciation. You all probably know who you are, so take pride in knowing that you helped give me a confidence boost. I started this blog to have a constructive outlet for my little anime hobby, but it really feels great to know that I can share my thoughts with other people – people that want to read them, I mean 😛

My output right now is slow because my self imposed anime challenge is taking up a lot of my time (the writing a lot more than the watching). I’m committed to seeing it through though, and I’ll do my very best to get 30 reviews in by the end of the year. I also put a good bit of work in my progress meter, which you can check out here.

I have ideas for a lot more content that I hope will catch your interest, including some more interactive stuff. So if my long winded reviews aren’t really your thing, I may have something for you yet.

I want to become a bigger part of the anime blogging community, so to my small number of supporters: Thank you again for making my first steps so pleasant. You guys are awesome!
