Six months have lapsed since last week’s episode and Tanya is now enjoying a comfy life in a military college. Despite every move being carefully calculated for a career away from the front lines, she may have gotten too zealous about showing off her insight. After making a positive impression on General Zettour, Tayna is asked to write a proposal about a Mage Battalion unit. Little does she know her intellect will impress more than just the General.
“Clear and Present Danger”
Masamune is planning his strategy to get revenge on Aki by reading the shojo manga, “Barasute,” but Yoshino tells him he’s doing it wrong. Rather than the aggressive approach he’s been using, Masamune tries to get Aki to pay more attention to him by ignoring her. As usual, things don’t end up the way Masamune planned.
“The Evil Scent of the Hakubaiko”
Working as an assassin while pursuing the man who murdered his father years prior, Ronin Kaneko agrees to take out Heizo in exchange for a lucrative sum of money. While boarding in Edo, Kaneko meets a timid servant, Osaki. Inspired by her kindness, Kaneko decides to get out of the business of murdering for money, after he finishes this last hit of course.
“Show Me Love (Not a Dream)”
After the brief moment of affection from Ecchan, Hanabi processes what it means to be the object of someone’s affections. Mugi reflects on his own prior relationships, including a intimate partner. As Hanabi and Mugi contemplate their feelings towards one another, they discover a secret about Akane that threatens to change everything.
“Start of a New Life! (That Doesn’t Go Well, Of Course)”
Kanna starts living with Tohru and Kobayashi. When the tiny apartment becomes cramped with three people, Kobayashi is forced to upgrade their apartment. This leads to dealing with a slew of problems, including loud neighbors. Later Kobayshi invites Takiya over for a housewarming party, prompting Tohru to also invite her dragon friends, Fafnir and Lucoa, to visit their new home.

“The Swirling Smoke of Rumors in the Castle”
Director-General Mauve of ACCA headquarters invites Jean out to dinner, where she asks him for his aid in gathering more information about a brewing coup d’état. Meanwhile, rumors of a coup had reached even the Dōwān royal family. With Prince Schwann’s coming of age commemorative ceremony in the works, the Five Chief Officers receive a request to attend the ceremony, as well as Jean as a representative of the Inspection Department.

Week three is when we start to look at which shows have the potential to get more interesting and which might be better suited for less than regular viewing. If you’ve been following along, you might guess a couple that didn’t pass muster.
“Friends, Work, and the Summer of Bugs”
Gabriel picks up a job at a coffee shop to get some extra money and takes advantage of her overly forgiving boss. Meanwhile Vignette makes an effort to get to know Raphiel better but finds that she’s kind of scary. Later on, a broken AC unit leaves Gabriel in a foul mood.
“After the Shoplifter!”
When an overconfident Chuuta tries to stop a shoplifter, things take a turn for the worse. Though he is nearly consumed by his feelings of guilt, he begins to get more serious about his position with the ēlDLIVE police force. While this is a positive step for Chuuta, not everything is as it seems.

“Beware of Sleeping Together!”
During a trip to Ki’s Mount Ura estate, Keika comes to understand how important the exorcist’s position really is. After being introduced to Ki’s family, who are intrigued by his choice of spirit shadow, Keika begins to question his purpose as a spirit shadow. A surprise visit from a pair of powerful spirits opens his eyes to the danger involved and reveals that not everyone under his mater’s protection is on his side.
