Re-watch Wrap-up

Now that the Re-watch under the Full-Bloom of Spring has finished, I would like to take a moment and express my gratitude. What I wanted most out of watching this anime again was to talk about it with others. Thanks to all your help, I got that and more.

Ep 22 – Spring Wind

Kousei plays his final performance as he reflects on everyone music has connected him to. Lost in his feelings, he envisions his duet with the person who changed his life forever. As winter draws to a close, he discovers the truth about Kaori.

Ep 21 – Snow

Kousei is devastated upon realizing the extent of Kaori’s condition and gives up once again, only to have a small request return him to her side. Still filled with sadness over the possibility of losing her, Kousei goes into the final lonely performance.

Ep – 20 Hand in Hand

Tsubaki confronts Kousei about how they both feel as he makes another excuse not to visit Kaori. With time slipping away, the characters open up more about their feelings, though doing so makes them vulnerable as well.

Ep 19 – Goodbye Hero

Kaori and Kousei are giving their all to pursue their goals, leaving Tsubaki to wonder about her place. With Kousei’s rivals are also preparing to do their best, he finds an opportunity to connect with them like he never has before.

Ep 18 – Hearts Come Together

Nagi and Kousei deliver a performance that impresses even Takeshi, who is none too happy about Kousei spending time with his sister. Another listener who caught the performance through her phone is moved by it enough to consider giving her all once more.

Ep 17 – Twilight

Still troubled by Kaori’s situation, Kousei tries to teach Nagi the importance of wanting to play for someone else. As he sees Kaori begin to give up, he comes upon an idea that may motivate her. Nagi’s school festival begins, and everyone is surprised by her partner.

Ep 16 – Two of a Kind

Kaori is out of the hospital for the day, but a missed chance at running into Watari leads her to assign Kousei as his stand-in again. Kousei’s lessons with Nagi continue, and the younger girl starts to feel pressured until the two have a frank discussion about what drives them to play.

Ep 15 – Liar

A difficult choice for Tsubaki is seemingly made for her and she’s forced once again to confront how she feels about Kousei. An unexpected new character literally falls into Kousei’s lap and further complicates his life while he struggles with visiting Kaori.

Ep 14 – Footsteps

Kaori’s brushes off her hospitalization again but Kousei worries about her health. Kashiwagi meanwhile tries to get Tsubaki to admit her feelings for Kousei. As the semester draws to an end, Tsubaki deals with a number of changes.
